Lily and Friends!

Hello Everyone!

Hope your Christmas was a Blessed one I know mine was!

Ever since I found digital stamps and papers I have been hooked. I am a child of the microwave generation......must have it now! I love to sit in my bathrobe late at night (after a hard days work) and shop! To be able to get my stamps and papers instantly is a dream.

If you are like me you have to make time to create around all the other busy things you must do everyday. I became fascinated with how to create your own digital stamps and did a little research on what I needed then asked Santa ( aka my awesome husband) for a
Wacom digital tablet and a new laptop.

If you follow my blog you know the passion in my life is God,
my family and friends and my little Yorkie Lily!
I could not find a digital stamp that I liked to represent little Lily, I wanted to make a card with her on it for her daddy ( my hubby )
for she is truly Daddy's Little Girl........so Lily & Friends was born!

I am in the process of creating these stamps now but would love your input. I will be posting a free stamp of Lily in her heart sweater soon.....have to clean her up a bit first but here is a preview. I am also working on a tutorial for coloring her with copics.

Please leave a comment with any suggestions you may have, it is much appreciated!

Here's Lily!

Have a Wonderful and Blessed New Year!

Merry Christmas Little Sis!

Back in November I was asked to be a Featured Guest Designer at Digital Delights and I was so excited and honored. I made this set using the adorable stamp Stocking Toby which is available at their digi store Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Isn't he the cutest!
I couldn't post till now because this was made for my Little Sis Debbie
for Christmas and I didn't want her to see it.
I call her Little Sis because she is 10 years younger than me!

My baby sister and my best friend......I luv you!

The papers I used are by DCWV from their Holiday Stack.
The Circle Sentiment is from Cat's Life Press and the tag sentiment is computer generated. The pretty poinsettias are from Michaels. The scalloped circle die cuts were made with my circut and I colored this adorable stamp with my copics.

And my little figure is made of Fimo. I so love to give these as gifts!

Unto Us a Child is Born....

I just love these LOTV Christmas stamps! I made this set for someone special but don't want to ruin the surprise by telling their name......they will just have to wait til Christmas!

I used digital papers from a company called Nitwits which I love! No waiting just buy, download and print. I have the Epson 1400 which prints 12 x 12 papers and is wonderful for scrapbooking too. My little stamp is colored with copics and the sparkle is Star Dust stickles.

And my little manger set is made of Fimo.

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him!

I had sooo much fun making this Christmas card! I haven't used my cricut in ages and when I found this adorable little stable at http://www.myscrapchick.com/ I knew it would be perfect with this adorable stamp from http://www.liliofthevalley.c/ o.uk I colored this image with my distress inks, added lots of star dust glitter to the star and angel. ! The accent around the stable is just some fringed yarn I had in my stash and the sentiments are computer generated.

And of course the little figure is made of Fimo.

My First Digital Scrapbook Page!

Just had to share my first digital scrapbook page! Boy was this a challenge. First I had to learn how to use Photoshop Elements which isn't a walk in the park, but after I mastered the layers it all seemed to fall together quite nicely. I did this page while sitting in front of my TV just relaxing......no mess to clean up! The digital papers I used are from Nitwits and these kits are quite addicting
(aren't they Janie)!

The handsome young men on my scrapbook page are my grandsons AJ and Joey.
We were just fooling around in a costume store right before Halloween.......
boy did we have fun!!

Grammy loves you guys!!

Have a Blessed week and thanks for visiting!

Tea Party Birthday!

Made this little set for someone really special! It is an easel card but I can't
show the inside.......it will spoil the surprise as her birthday is still a little ways away.

I love this little stamp by LOTV.......actually I think I love all their stamps!
I colored it with my copics and the papers are from Nitwits which is an awesome digital paper company. Love that I can download and print my own matching papers and don't have to shop around for them. You can find them at http://www.nitwitcollections.com/ . The darling little teapot came from ebay and I think I bought 20 of them for $2.90 which included shipping!
I love using my retro punches for making my own flowers , the branches are a McGill punch and of course I used my nestablities scalloped and circle dies.

And here is her little Fimo Tea Party doll.

Happy Birthday AJ!

My grandson AJ turns 11 this Friday and I just had to make him something using monkeys which he has loved since he was little. I found these adorable monkey stamps at http://www.bugaboostamps.com/ and they were colored with my copics. The sock monkey paper I think came from Michael's but I can't be sure as I have had it for a long time.

The circle sentiment is by Catslife Press.
These little monkeys are soooo cute!

The decorated box came from Michael's and was painted inside and out with acrylic paint.
I made these monkeys from Super Sculpey granite clay.......
they really look like the real sock monkeys!

What a cute family!

And here is my gorgeous Birthday Boy!
Happy Birthday AJ.....Grammy loves you very much!

Mo's Digital Challenge.....Altered Items!

The challenge this week over at http://www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ is altered items, so this is a perfect time to start making my Christmas goodies! Don't know just yet who this set will go to but with 4 granddaughters I might need to make 3 more!

This little day planner is for 2011 and 2012 and I found it at Michael's for $1.00.....can't beat that! The papers, ribbon and lace are all from my stash. I used my new Nestabilities Lacey Circles by Spellbinders (love these dies!). The awesome leaves are from Sizzix from their Flowers, Branches, and Leaves set.
The flowers are made with the retro punches and a MS cornflower punch. I found this little box at Michael's also for $1.99. I painted it inside and out with acrylic paint before I decorated it.

And finally here's the little Fimo figure.

For a Special Friend!

One of my very dear friends has been going thru quite a struggle for the last few weeks and I wanted to let her know that she is in my prayers so I created this little card that I hope will put a smile on her face and a little joy in her heart!
I really enjoyed making the flowers on this card....sooo much fun! I found the tutorial on StampArtic under Marianne's flowers. This is a wonderful site for all card makers. The flowers are made using the retro flower punches by paper shapers, the butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

I colored this darling little Tilda with distress inks and Twinkling H20's which I learned
from Kathy over at Distressed Stamper
She does the most awesome job coloring with these sparkling paints and her cards are gorgeous!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a Blessed week!
