Happy Birthday Alexa!

I have been very busy this month enjoying my family here at the beach.  I love when the kids and grandkids come to visit!

My oldest granddaughter Alexa turned 22 on July 9th and I decided to make a special little card for a very special granddaughter.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Alexa.  She was about 3 years old and blowing bubbles on grandma's front porch.

Because my grandchildren had several grandmothers and I was the one who lived the farthest away
they call me Grandma-Far-Away.....I love my name!

Happy Birthday Alexa!

Welcome Anabelle!

It has been along time since I have posted on this blog.....and I have missed it!

One of my passions is designing and making cloth dolls and Anabelle is my newest.

Annabelle has an embroidered face and yarn hair.

Her dress has three tiers of fabric which is decorated with lovely lace and
she holds a lovely shabby heart.

Her cute little bloomers match her dress and her little boots are painted on then embellished
.

Look at those eyes!

Have a great Memorial Weekend!
God Bless those who protect our wonderful country!

Hope this post finds all of you happy and well! We survived the earthquake and Hurricane Irene with no damage at all....

Thank You Lord! Hope things stay quiet and still!

Thought I would share with you this little tabletop scrapbook album that I just finished. Had sooo much fun making this. Even though I live at the beach I guess I'm just a country girl at heart!

It is chocked full of photo mats, tags, charms and is ready to hold all your treasured photos.

Happy Birthday Debbie..... Miss You!

Made this card for my sister Debbie's birthday.

Just love this little Tilda Stamp. She is colored with copics and I used flower soft in her little basket. The flowers were made with retro punches and then covered with UTEE.....quite a pretty effect!

Have a Very Blessed Easter!
